If you looking for a team to play on, please read the following information
& instructions below; then, fill out and send us the required form.

KC Premiere can assist players (both boys & girls) looking for a team in one of two ways:

We can consider providing you an opportunity to play on one of our "KC Premiere" teams. KC Premiere Basketball consists of 15 teams BOYS grades 4th-12th & GIRLS grades 9th-12th.

We can refer you to teams in the KC Metro area or your home vicinity that fit your needs. As we operate both boys and girls leagues year-round and 25 tournaments each year, we have many contacts. * 4th -8th grade GIRLS should select this option.

Please NOTE the following:

Due to the large volume of requests, we require that you fill out and forward
us the questionnaire form found after the Frequently Asked Questions section.

Requests are processed on or before the end of each month

You will either be contacted with suggestions by one of our staff members OR
a coach we have referred you too; you do NOT have to re-contact us regarding placement

KC Premiere does NOT guarantee placement, but we will try our best

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is AAU?

Teams that play competitively are often labeled "AAU" teams regardless of their participation in the "AAU" sanctioned events.

What is the cost?
Every team has a different budget depending on the number of events played, cost for practice time, coaching fees, etc.

Are there tryouts?
Many teams will invite players to tryout while some will take players if space permits, it is best to ask the coach involved.

What is the criteria for being considered for a "KC PREMIERE" Team?

Player and parents must be committed to playing YEAR-ROUND (except during the high school season and possibly a second sport)
KCP plays 10-15 games monthly and practices twice weekly, March-July
KCP teams are based out of Levo Gym (Across from Argosy Casino, KCMO)
KCP teams travel once a month, May-August (more travel for 15U-17U teams)
The KCP program is only for those individuals serious about playing at the next level
