COACH'S PRE & POST GAME RESPONSIBILITIES

 

*Please make parents aware of admission fees for league and tournament games.

Admission Fees

  1. Please check in with the gym supervisor once you arrive at each game. There may be materials for  you to pick up or information to be conveyed.

2. Please have score sheet filled out completely before warm-ups begin. Team name, coach's name, game time, location, date, division, and player information (names & numbers) must be completed.

3. Each team will need to provide an ADULT score person for each game.  Please have only one representative at the table from each of the teams.

5. Please verify final score is correct on the score sheets with officials. Officials will submit all score sheets to the gym supervisor after game.

6. If you have any comments, concerns, or complaints about the game, please write any feedback down on the back of your team's score sheet.

7. All children must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. For their safety, children may not play in hallways or under bleachers.

8. Inappropriate behavior from coaches and fans will not be tolerated. Please remember that we all need to strive to be good sports and positive role models.  SEE ► Sportsmanship Guidelines

9. Please insure that  NO food or drink are consumed in areas posted as such.  After games, please police and properly dispose of all trash within your team's bench...Thank You!

LEAGUE & TOURNAMENT RULES
NFSHSAA Rules Apply with the following Exceptions!

 

Premiere Basketball Rules

Length of Game:
 

• Two 20 minute halves  

• Running clock except last 2 minutes of each half

• Clock will run if there is a 15 pt. lead in 2nd half

• Halftime will last 3 minutes  
 

Overtime:

• Overtime will be 2 minutes, stop clock

• 2nd Overtime period will be 1 minute stop clock

• 3rd Overtime period will be sudden death
 

Timeouts:

• Four full timeouts per game

• One additional full timeout per overtime period
 

Tiebreakers:

• Two-way tie: Head to head result

• Point Spread (Maximum 15 points)

• Defensive Points Allowed
 

4th Grade Modifications:

• Intermediate size ball will be used

• Teams may not press if they lead by 15+ points

MAYB Rules

 Length of Game:

• Two-way tie: head to head result

• Three-way tie: coin toss, odd man out wins   

   higher seed.  Other two teams seeded based  

   on head to head results.
